Lantern Archway Gateway — Chinese Palace-Style Lantern Gate
An entrance is the first thing your visitors photograph — and the first thing they post. A lantern archway gateway turns that moment into a landmark: a full palace-style gate rebuilt in lantern light, wide enough to walk through, tall enough to dominate the view, and detailed enough that every surface rewards a second look.
The structure follows the classic Chinese palace-gate silhouette — layered rooflines, upturned eaves, a wide central span and flanking columns — but it is built entirely from the same materials as our festival lanterns: a galvanized steel frame, high-density silk panels, and IP65-rated LED modules. At night the gate glows from within, every roof layer and eave edge traced in light. By day it still reads as sculpture, holding its shape without a single print or sticker.
That double life makes the archway valuable beyond festivals. A shopping mall installs one at the main entrance for Chinese New Year and leaves it as a brand statement for the season. A temple fair anchors its processional route under the gate. A theme park places it at the end of the main street so every evening photo has a grand backdrop. Wedding venues use a smaller version as the ceremony entrance, where the gate becomes the frame for the couple’s first photographs.
Where This Display Works
Festival and Temple Fair Entrances
Anchor the entrance of a lantern festival or temple fair with the gate. It marks the boundary of the paid zone, controls the natural flow of visitors and creates the first photo point of the route.
Shopping Mall and Retail Entrances
Malls install a gateway at the main entrance for Chinese New Year or a grand opening. The archway keeps working after the event as a seasonal brand statement.
Theme Park Main Street
Place the gate at the end of the main street or at the entrance plaza. Every evening parade and photo walk has a grand backdrop, extending the themed environment beyond rides.
Wedding and Event Entrances
A scaled-down gateway frames the ceremony entrance. The couple’s first photographs — and every guest’s arrival shot — are set against the lantern gate.
City Celebration and Parade Routes
Municipal festivals use the archway to mark the start of a parade route or a pedestrianised street, combining decoration with wayfinding.
Key Features
A Gate That Is Also a Photo Backdrop
The palace silhouette frames every photo taken through it. Visitors naturally stop at the entrance, which turns your first 20 metres into the most shared content of the event.
Walk-Through Scale
This is not a decorative panel — it is a real gate with a clear central span. Crowds flow through it, which makes it the natural gateway for paid zones, processional routes and official photo points.
Built Like a Lantern, Not a Facade
Steel frame, silk skin, internal LEDs — the same construction as our festival lanterns. It glows from within at night and holds a sculpted silhouette by day, with no printed graphics that fade or peel.
Layered Palace Detail
Multiple rooflines, upturned eaves and column capitals are each traced in separate LED circuits, so the gate reads with depth rather than a single flat outline.
One Supplier, End-to-End
Design, engineering, fabrication, shipping and on-site assembly are coordinated by a single team. One contract, one schedule, one responsible party.
Seasonal and Brand Customisation
Palette and ornament shift with the occasion — red and gold for Chinese New Year, seasonal colors for Christmas, brand colors for commercial openings — on the same structure.

FAQ
What span and height can you build?
We build from about 4 metres up to 12 metres in span, and 4 to 8 metres in height, engineered for wind load at the site. Smaller wedding-scale gates and larger civic-scale structures are both custom options.
Is it a real gate or a decorative panel?
A real walk-through gate with a clear central span. Visitors pass through it, and the structure is engineered to stand independently with proper anchoring.
Can the style be something other than palace-style?
Yes. The same engineering supports different roof lines — temple, modern minimal, art-deco or brand-specific silhouettes. The palace style is our most requested starting point.
How is it installed?
The gateway ships in sectional pieces in wooden crates and assembles on site. We provide assembly drawings and can send an installation crew; typical installations complete in 2–4 days depending on size.
Can the lighting change between seasons?
Yes. The LED system supports palettes and simple sequences, so the gate can move from Chinese New Year red and gold to a Christmas or brand scheme without structural changes.
