Azure Qilin Lantern is built around a horned qilin in silver-blue light strings on a rock base. Like every piece we make, it starts from the position it will occupy rather than from a catalogue photograph: the height, the surface and the distance a visitor stands at all feed into the frame. Qilin forms are specified for entrances in East Asian festivals. The rock base lets the piece sit on any surface without fixings. Construction follows our standard build: 整体钢架结构，铁丝造型，彩绸布分色裱糊，部分LED灯带勾边，部分喷布处理，美术处理整，体LED光源内透。
Where it works
Cultural figures are placed where the meaning has to be read without any text.
