Teal Sea Turtle Lantern is built around a turtle in teal and green light strings. Like every piece we make, it starts from the position it will occupy rather than from a catalogue photograph: the height, the surface and the distance a visitor stands at all feed into the frame.
Cool-toned turtles are usually specified for marine or ice sections of a route, where the palette already runs cool. Construction follows our standard build: a welded internal frame, a lit surface worked per section, and wiring installed and tested before release.
Where it works
Marine forms are usually placed beside water or under cover. Beside water, spray and humidity reach further than most buyers expect, so outdoor enclosures and a finish that tolerates damp are specified even where the piece never touches the water. Under cover, the same form is built lighter and hung, because fish and jellyfish read from below where visitors look up.
